Discito has no backend. Your data lives in your iCloud, sync'd by Apple. There's no AWS bill we'd need to recoup every month, so there's no recurring fee to pass on to you.
Spaced-repetition users are loyal — many stick with the same app for years. A one-time price aligns our incentives with yours: we make money by getting better, not by holding your cards hostage to a renewal.
Native iOS apps run forever. Your purchase entitles you to every update for the lifetime of the app — no "you're on the old plan, upgrade to keep features" surprise.
One purchase, up to six family members. Discito Pro is configured with Family Sharing enabled at the App Store Connect level — when you buy, every family-group member gets Pro at no extra cost. Family Sharing is irreversible once enabled (Apple's rule, not ours), and we made the decision in your favor.
Discito runs on every iPhone and iPad that supports iOS 18.6 or later. Most features work everywhere; the AI features require Apple Intelligence on the device.

If your device doesn't support Apple Intelligence, the AI features are visibly disabled in Settings with a one-line explanation. Every non-AI feature works on every supported device — Pro entitlement is by purchase, not by hardware.
No. Discito Pro is a single non-consumable in-app purchase. There is no monthly tier, no annual tier, and we have no plans to add one.
The Lite tier is the trial — free forever, with unlimited cards and full FSRS-6. Six one-time Pro-feature trials let you sample the optimizer, AI generation, lecture capture, smart quizzes, .apkg export, and deck re-sync before deciding.
Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID; tap Restore Purchases in Settings → Discito Pro and you're back to Pro. Trial counters persist across uninstall (they live in iCloud against your Apple ID) — uninstalling does not reset them.
App Store automatically converts the $14.99 USD base into your local storefront's equivalent (around €14.99, £13.99, ¥2,200 JPY). Family Sharing is supported in every storefront Apple supports it in.
App Store refunds go through Apple — open Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases → View Account → Purchase History, find Discito, and tap Report a Problem. Apple processes the refund; we do not handle billing directly.
App Store gift-purchase works for Discito the same as any other paid iOS app — gift it via the App Store app on iOS or via appstore.com/gift on the web. Family Sharing is the cheaper option for households.
